SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT to $80k+ - Medical

Job Description: Immediate need for Senior Tax Accountant or Manager Tax. Either First Year Manager or Strong Tax Senior

Job Summary:
Individual is responsible for tax review and planning for various federal, state income and franchise tax returns and FASB109.
Duties:
The following is a list of essential job requirements. This list may be revised at any time and additional duties not listed here may be assigned as needed. Job functions and Job Responsibility include, but are not limited to:
. Review of various Federal and State tax returns for Partnerships, C Corps and S Corps
. Review of workpapers to support the various tax returns
. Responsible for the accuracy of fixed assets information for tax, this includes quarterly and annual review of fixed assets
. Assist in preparation of FAS 109 calculations
. Review quarterly estimated tax payments for both federal and various states
. Review extensions and state tax planning
. Handle various Federal and State Tax Audits
. Prepare/review responses to various notices received from Federal and State taxing authorities
. Research tax issues and to be able to identify issues and propose tax planning
. Assist in various special projects as required during the year with mergers and acquisition
