Title: SEC Reporting Analyst/Manager #60051
Location: San Rafael, CA

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced, smart and highly-motivated individual to join our team and assist with SEC reporting. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of External Reporting and will be responsible for a variety of SEC reporting projects. This is a great opportunity to join a world-class software company and a world-class finance organization. The title and position responsibilities will vary based on candidate experience. We have a strong internal rotation and career development program. We will consider candidates at a Senior or Manager level.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities will vary depending on needs which arise but may include the following: Draft financial statements, MD&A and footnote disclosures for SEC filings Prepare supporting schedules for SEC filings Provide technical guidance on business issues. v Work with finance team on M&A transactions and integration issues.

Work Experience Required: CPA required Must have at least 4 years of experience with a Big 4 accounting firm Software industry experience is preferred Experience in a large global company is preferred An excellent knowledge of current US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations is required

Personal Attributes and Capabilities Required: Excellent communication skills including excellent business writing skills. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to explain complex accounting concepts to a non-technical audience. Strong project management skills Strong analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
