Regional Controller

We seek a Controller to take responsibility for the financial management of a multi-operational region.  This position will be an essential part of the management team, requiring excellent communication and problem solving skills.

 

Tasks:

 Provides finance and accounting support to the Branch Manager:Financial Reporting and AnalysisStrategic PlanningBudgetingForecastingConstruction AccountingProvides analysis and control of region's project cost system:Proper interpretation and enforcement of revenue recognition policiesAssurance that project cost information is accurate, timely and completeMaintains and coordinates the region's contract administration function to ensure compliance with the region's project contractsManages, maintains and analyzes the region's General Ledger, including a monthly close process to ensure an accurate, timely integration of financial information into the corporation's consolidated statements.  Analysis of the statements to include trend and variance analysis of the Statement of AccountsServes as region's strategic business advisor providing counsel and advice to the region's management team on the complete business model, including both the financial and operational areas

 

Qualifications:

 General understanding of the construction environment of organizations with revenue of $30M - $60M; familiarity with mechanical piping industry a plusDemonstrate ability to operationalize strategic goals and objectives into regional compliance with established policies and proceduresDemonstrate ability to provide sound business advice based on past educational and work experienceMinimum of 4 years' construction-related finance and accounting experienceBachelor's degree or equilavent work experience requiredMBA or MBA candidate currently pursing MBA preferredStrong communication skills requiredAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentDetail-oriented with excellent customer service skills and attitudeMS Office software proficiencyOracle expertise preferred
