Project Manager - (RT21369)
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for supporting LACC's Professional Services, Customer Support, and Sales Departments. Works closely with Senior Managers and provides recommendations to Business Unit initiatives. Focal point for corporate initiatives impacting the Business Unit. Works with other Business Units to develop standards and implement initiatives. Accountable for all aspects of time accounting, billing, and resource planning, maintaining the quality system, and developing management information reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Contributes to the development, implementation and maintenance of standardized project management procedures, methodologies, project plans, Terms of Reference/Project Charters, checklists, presentations, Achiever, and general documentation.
· Assists project managers with project life-cycle activities. Develops high level project plans, establishes Clarity project plan templates, chairs Turnover meetings, facilitates the development and management of risk management plans, Change Management, works with project managers to improve their skills and maintain PMI proficiency, and Software support.
· Implements senior management policies, procedures, directives as they apply to project management, time accounting, resource planning, and corporate mandates.
· Provides Executive information rollup information for MIS reports (Orlando, Colombia and Costa Rica). Provides MIS profit/loss and forecast/actual variance explanations. Prepare and explain measurements/key indicators/trend analysis and coordinate monthly project reviews. Coordinate with the Business Unit the automation of the MIS, Essbase.
· Reviews consolidated project/resource forecast reports with senior management. Analyze trends in non-billable hours report, and propose changes to the LACC Department structure for MIS and financial reporting.
· Assist resource managers with resource forecasting, capacity planning, resource assignment, over allocation and leveling.
· Maintain the information repository for projects, resources, documentation, skill sets, billing rates, rate matrices, staff availability, change management, and project management tools.
· Implement Clarity upgrades in the Business Unit and train resources on project management, resource management and time accounting applications. Train resources in the utilization of Clarity.
· Participate in Global Clarity Project Support initiatives and weekly meetings.
· Works closely with SVP Professional Services to formulate policies and standards. Assists Support Departments as needed.
· Lead special projects, such as SAS-70, Corporate Quality initiatives, Risk Management, Business Impact Analysis, Security Risk management, Achiever, etc.
· Prepare monthly Business Unit forecast reports.
· Prepare monthly billing files based on Clarity information and keeps track of Client credits, non-billable hours, and cross charges.
· Develop weekly/monthly financial, resource, and project reports to provide Senior Managers with current information.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
· A Bachelors degree in Finance or similar is required.
Job Related Experience:
· This position requires 6 years experience in Retail Financial Institutions.
· A working knowledge of project management methodologies and software is required.
· Microsoft Office (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and Clarity knowledge is required.
· Demonstrated ability to work in project office environments.
