Program Financial Analyst, Military Development Programs

The candidate will assist with the preparation and coordination of program financial reports and closing analysis activities in support of Military Development Programs.

Job Description:

- Monthly closing: prepare monthly closing by third workday including analysis of major variances with forecast and plan. Follow up after closing with questions/issues, which may arise during the closing.

- Prepare monthly status report for all contracts, which includes contract value, funding, period of performance, actuals, and open commitments.

- Prepare and submit contract data requirements (CDRLs).

- Prepare Estimate at Completion (EAC) reports with thorough analysis and review.

- Quarterly forecast: working closely with multiple program managers to ensure that forecasts are reasonable and have a proper basis of estimate. Prepare quarterly forecast summary with explanations of variances to prior forecasts and plan.

- Prepare/present financial charts for monthly Management Program Reviews.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or an MBA. Other candidates will be considered based on experience.

The candidate must have good written and oral communication skills and work well in a group/team environment. Candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks and still maintain on time delivery for all requirements. This position requires strong analytical ability.

Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years finance/accounting experience.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access). Working knowledge of Hyperion and other financial systems highly desired.
