Plant Controller

Manages the financial functions: financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, raw materials and finished goods inventories, accounts receivable, and fixed assets. Reports and analyzes financial and statistical information to provide the plant with results and recommendations to improve business results. Prepares and evaluates capital investment requests, including measurement of actual results against project targets. Ensures plant compliance with all audit and Sarbanes requirements, implementing action plans as required to remediate any deficiencies or control weaknesses. Develops plant budgets and performance targets, and implements operating policies and procedures to guide the plant. Coaches plant personnel on operational & financial issues to improve understanding of the business and their impact/contribution to plant results.Conducts performance appraisals. Administers company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. CPA certificate a plus.

Minimum of five years progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent computer skills including strong MS Excel skills. SAP experience helpful.
