We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Accounting Department.

 

Responsibilities: Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the payroll databasePrepare bi weekly payroll for approximately 250 employees (hourly, shift and salary), includes the inputting of incentive pay, bonuses, commissions, vacation and sick pay and calculating retro payBalance registers, and distribute paychecks to employeesWire monies for the 401(k) PlanProcess and answer questions regarding garnishmentsAnalyze and resolve payroll errors, loss checks, etc.Ensure all Federal and State regulations are metEnsure compliance with all company policies as well as Wage and Hour LawsMaintain all payroll records in accordance with the record retention policiesWork closely with Human Resources and Auditors on 401(k)  and worker’s compensation

 

Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience using ADP PC Payroll for WindowsMinimum of 1 year of a time-keeping system, E-Time a plus

 

Skills:Knowledge of ADP PCPWKnowledge of E-Time or KronosKnowledge of Wage and Hour Laws and Federal and State regulationsExposure to Finance, i.e. GL experienceMust have excellent problem solving skillsAbility to work under the pressure of time constraintsMust be detailed oriented Proficient use of MS Office particularly ExcelStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
