Compensation:$90K to $120K

Position Profile:


This is a NEWLY created position with HIGH VISIBILITY and opportunity for PROMOTION.  This position will fill a vacuum and perform a KEY ROLE. This includes interacting with employees at various levels within the accounting and finance group as well as managers from other departments. The External Reporting Manager will also interact with both internal and independent auditors, various outside vendors and agencies as necessary.


 


Duties and Responsibilities:


Prepare management discussion and analysis paper

SEC comment letters

File all required SEC forms and reports

Participate in producing the annual reports

Responsible for the following Statements:


Cash Flows

Earnings per Share

Accounting for and forecasting of stock options, derivatives, litigation and claims expense

Researching and interpreting technical accounting matters

Responsible for Board and senior management reporting, including press release, Audit Committee and Board of Directors' financial packages, monthly consolidated close book, and investor relations financial Q&As

Responsible for directing quarterly and year-end external financial statement and 401(k) audits, including reviewing scope, timing and extent of audit with external auditors and coordinating signoffs of position papers


 


Required:


CPA certification

3+ years SEC reporting

3+ years managerial experience with senior management interaction

6+ years public and private industry experience

Hyperion Enterprise and Retrieve experience a plus
