Manager - State & Local Tax

KPMG’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice needs more members for their team. KPMG's SALT practice assists clients as they work to reduce their tax liabilities and enhance the bottom line. As a national practice, SALT is committed to bringing some of the best professionals to each engagement and providing dynamic tax services to clients.

State and Local Tax

Responsibilities:
* Manage the following projects for clients: Transaction Privilege Tax (Sales tax), audit representation, voluntary disclosures, consulting and refunds, Arizona income tax (credits, especially Enterprise Zone credit projects), Arizona Training Grant (manage application process and complete filings due every three months) and Unclaimed property (Manage compliance projects).
* Supervise, mentor and develop staff members
* Assist with the business development, management and delivery of SALT services

Qualifications:
* Five years of experience in one of the following: sales and transactions tax research, income and franchise, or unclaimed property
* Excellent writing, communication, and tax research skills
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
