Internal Auditor

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES



 

Execution of Internal Audit Plan and Special Projects

· Franchise audits:  underreporting of royalty sales.

ü Audit a predetermined number of franchisees as defined in yearly goals / annual audit plan.

· Company-owned store audits:  defalcation, underreporting of sales.

ü Audit a predetermined number of corporate stores as defined in yearly goals / annual audit plan.

· Other divisional audits and special projects, as required.

· Communication and reporting of audit results.

 

Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance

· Documentation of internal controls to comply with Section 404 requirements.

· Testing of internal controls and execution of test plans.

· Development and assistance in implementation of recommendations to improve, internal controls and operating processes.



 

Financial Audit Support, as needed · Perform interim and year-end fieldwork as assigned by the external auditors.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

CPA / CIA preferred

2-3 years of previous audit experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

Excellent written communication skills required

Independent and team working abilities required

High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality required
