Fixed Asset Manager
Dickson Allan is a national professional services firm that provides executive search services in the areas of accounting and finance, internal audit, tax and technology.
Our client, a large retailer, has the need for a Fixed Asset Manager for their corporate office in a suburb of Birmingham, AL. This client, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, needs a Fixed Asset Manager to oversee the entire fixed asset recordkeeping process (GAAP and tax) for all of the company’s domestic and offshore operations. Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting needs to Corporate Accounting and Tax (for book/tax depreciation schedules, gain/loss detail, tax apportionment information, property tax information, etc.) schedule preparation process for our external auditors. The Fixed Asset Manager will provide guidance and leadership to three or four fixed asset accountants/clerks.
Our client requires:
*Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
*5-8 years of fixed asset accounting experience, experience with GEAC fixed asset ledger is preferred
*Advanced knowledge of tax as it relates to fixed assets would be a plus
*proven success in accounting management
