Finance Manager POM Wonderful Plant in Fresno

POM Wonderful (A Roll International Company) is a rapidly growing, fun, fast –paced, consumer-driven food and beverage company and is the Nation’s largest producer of the Wonderful Variety of Pomegranates.  The company also produces a line of all-natural, 100% pomegranate juices that are currently available in the distinctive double bubble bottle located in the refrigerated produce sections of supermarkets nationwide.

Responsibilities: Prepare financial results and key financial metrics FOR OUR DEL REY PLANT NEAR FRESNO, CA

Requirements: Consolidating, summarizing, analyzing and reporting Del Rey’s financial results including income statement and key financial metrics Preparing periodic reporting presentations Work with Operations to keep informed of technical developments relating to accounting This position will require frequent interaction and communication with plant management Reports to the Dir of Financial Planning & Analysis in LA

 

Qualifications:Corporate accounting and, ideally, operational finance experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibility in the finance and/or controller areas Exposure to improving the financial reporting process across multiple business units and creating corporate-level financial roll-up would be ideal Oracle experience preferred, major ERP experience required Stung Excel skills required



Personal and Leadership Skills Sets Preferred:Experienced and comfortable with analysis and reporting utilizing mainframe accounting software, databases and Excel spreadsheets. Diverse experiences which allow the ability to understand business issues and sources of creating value, capable of generating several accounting and business alternatives Strong economic orientation. Business and bottom-line focused, results oriented Career focused, self-motivated, and energetic with a strong work ethic Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are a must, including a “boardroom” presence

Education and/or ExperienceUndergraduate degree with emphasis in Finance or Accounting. CPA. 5+ years of experience with progressively responsible financial roles focused on accounting, auditing, financial analysis and/or reporting
