Finance Manager

Reporting to the CFO, this position is responsible for providing financial and accounting support for multiple small companies. This hands-on accounting role provides all management reporting and analysis to assist the business in the achievement of financial goals, including compiling financial plans and forecasts.

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Managing a small accounting staff, while being very hands-on.

Ensure detailed financial reporting for the business.

Communicating, maintaining and constantly improving financial processes and controls.

Financial planning, forecasting, measurement, review and analysis.

Daily cash management.

Liaison with banking, auditing & outside accounting firms.
Ability to analyze and maintain internal controls, financial systems, reporting
requirements and budgeting.

Aid in providing due diligence, finance integration and organizational structure
during mergers and acquisitions

 

Requirements

Minimum of 5-8 years of strong accounting, management experience

Advanced degree in accounting or related field is required, CPA preferred

Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills

Ability to hire, train and mentor staff

Thorough understanding of accounting practices and principles

Knowledge of regulatory reporting and issues

Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting tax laws

Ability to understand, articulate and present high level, as well as detailed, financial information

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
