FIRM ADMINISTRATOR

A downtown CPA is seeking a Firm Administrator.  This is a challenging opportunity to work with highly motivated and competent teams.  Discernment for confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy are crucial.  Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be flexible, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in meeting daily operational responsibilities and working on strategic initiatives.  Must have a history of being highly coachable, a strong passion for serving others, and working very effectively with a team, as well as experience in financial, administrative, and technology management.  FA experience and professional services practice management preferred.   

 

The Firm Administrator supports Managing Partner by providing leadership and management of firm’s internal business affairs. Additionally, the FA communicates proactively and regularly with all principals, providing services as requested and approved by Managing Partner.  This position manages the administrative team and assures continuity for key administrative and operational functions, and provides internal business perspective in the development of and coordination of the Firm’s strategic initiatives.  The Firm Administrator is the inside relationship champion and keeper of the culture and values.

 

Key responsibilities:

Ø  Manage financial services, (financial statements, cash management, budgets)

Ø  IT Coordination

Ø  HR Services

Ø  Recruit, orientation, CPE and state registration licensing

Ø  Asset protection

Ø  Liaison between Managing Partner and staff

Ø  Communication and Coordination with Practice Offices Office AdministratorsSchedule workflow of engagements, reviewers, etc.
