Credit Rep to $31k+ - Distribution

Job Description: Incredible position available in stable, family oriented organization. Duties to include. Collections and Account Maintenance
.Responsible for managing Accounts Receivable of numerous, assigned accounts. This includes researching all open invoices and/or credits and developing positive relationships with the Accounts Payable representatives of assigned customers to ensure accurate and timely payments.
.Participating in weekly Credit Department meeting, reviewing status of all aged receivables.
.Approving or denying transactions for assigned customers based on knowledge of account status.
.Generating demand letters, change of terms letters, request for payment letters, and credit limit increase letters, as necessary, for delinquent or updated accounts and tracking the letters via certified mail.
.Generating credit memos and check requests, when needed, for item returns, price corrections, and freight credits. This involves working with others in the credit department, along with the customer, warehouse, sales, and customer service representatives to accurately research and write credits.
Entering and updating all customer information in credit files and computer. This includes all new C.O.D. and Open accounts, along with name, number, and address changes on existing accounts.
Various projects assigned by the Credit Manager and the Assistant Credit Manager.
