Technical requirements :
Our client, a specialty hospital located in Bellaire, TX, is seeking a Controller to manage the accounting and financial operations for the organization. Reporting to the CEO, the Controller will provide general and financial information about all company activities that will assist management, shareholders and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company’s future. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and conducting on-going analysis of third party reimbursements, cost management controls and analysis, creating surgical case reporting and analysis, and high cost implant and supply contract negotiations. The Controller will also participate in a variety of special projects and as required and/or needed

Candidates should have some experinence with :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.



Ideal Candidate: Successful candidate should have five plus years of experience in all aspects of hospital financial accounting, including revenue cycle processes, as well as knowledge and experience in managed care, Medicare reimbursement, budgeting, financial analysis and internal auditing.



Other: Previous experience working for a hospital.
