Business Analyst - Commercial
Business Analyst – Commercial
NOMA a division of GenTek, Inc provides fully integrated manufacturing capabilities and a wide range of technical services including advanced design, applied engineering, custom manufacturing and integration of wire and wire-based components. We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Business Analyst – Commercial for our Noma Harness Group location in Westland, Michigan. In this role you provide the financial support for monitoring business performance for a major customer of NOMA as compared to agreed upon supply agreement terms and conditions. Analysis will focus on inventory quality/obsolescence, account receivable quality, and incremental costs potentially recoverable.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Monitor customer performance to contractual terms and conditions.
2. Responsible for monitoring inventory quality and aging. Execute supply agreement terms relative to recovery.
3. Monitor accounts receivable quality and aging and apply supply agreement terms relative to recovery.
4. Analyze incremental cost incurred at plant level to determine root cause and potential recovery.
5. Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting required. CPA or MBA an asset. Three (3) to five (5) years accounting experience with emphasis on cost accounting/performance metrics. Must have excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong communication skills.
