Associate, Information Risk Management

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate for our Information Risk Management group to join us in our Boston and Hartford offices.

Information Risk Management (IRM) Services professionals assess, design, and combine leading information management and operational processes, approaches, technologies, and controls to help enable sustained business value and risk management in support of the business. Information Technology (IT) organizations and their leaders often need a business focus that helps enable them to better organize and prioritize their IT investments based on factors including business value created, return on investments, and management of risk.


Information Risk Management

Responsibilities:
•Evaluate and design system-based and manual controls around PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards and other applications business processes
•Review information security controls to help provide effective, efficient, and secure access to information within these applications
•Control evaluation associated with the operation, support, and maintenance of the technical environment including master data setup, conversions, and interfaces
•Project leadership and management of client engagements
•Clearly communicate information security and technology issues to various levels of clients and internal staff, on both a formal and informal basis
•Assist in the scoping of prospective engagements and developing proposals



Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited college/university
•One year of audit, tax or advisory services experience delivering IT audit system integration projects, including risk assessments, platform reviews, and ERP package controls
•Experience with ERP packages and/or custom developed application controls
•Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives
•A strong client services orientation and the ability to take an active role in executing engagements
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Able to travel an average of fifty percent of the time
