Analyst Sr. Division Finance

Job Description: Analyze financial position of US Airways by maintaining and enhancing current forecasting models. Maintains and enhances forecasting models. Completes projects in the following areas: financial forecasting, profitability analysis, strategic planning. Completes monthly financial review of business lines. Prepares in-depth cause and effect analysis on a variety of complex financial issues. Prepares competitive industry analyses. Handles analytical modeling and internal consulting



Requirements:

1. 3 + years experience in accounting/finance with financial modeling and analysis experience

2. Undergraduate degree or equivalent training/experience with a concentration in Finance/Economics/Accounting

3. Adaptability and flexibility in the use of analytical approaches pertaining to financial issues

4. Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with all levels of management

5. Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations

6. Advanced aptitude in problem-solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework



7. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access
