Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist

AFC Worldwide Express is a leading transportation and logistics provider located in Kennesaw, is currently seeking an experienced AR Specialist / Collector to join our team. Responsibilities and Requirements are listed below.

Responsibilities include:

·  Collection activities

Processing company accounts receivables in a timely manner

· Coordinating customer billing, including preparing invoices and statements

· Preparing deposit transactions and posting payments to customer accounts

· Analyzing accounting documents for accuracy and investigating questionable data. Taking corrective action where necessary

· Handling inquiries and negotiating with past due accounts

· Generating routine balance reports and assisting in the preparation of special reports

· Maintaining files and accounting documentation

· Other duties as required

· Experience in Finance or Accounting is a plus

· Great Plains experience a plus
