Accounts Receivable Clerk

Ledgent Staffing has an immediate need for an accounts receivable clerk for a manufacturing company north of Hartford. This position will start off temporary although the potential to be hired by our clients does exist. We are seeking a detail oriented professional with the following experience:

 
Cash applications and account reconciliations.
Process payments from contractors and vendors.
Assisting with end of month closings.
Processing payments and billing.
Light collections calls and scheduling payments.
Researching and resolving accounts receivable issues.

 

Qualified candidates must have:

 
Strong math and analytical skills, strong verbal communication skills.
Must be a self-motivated team player.
Must have at least 2 years experience.
Accounting degree preferred SAP experience desirable.
