Accounts Payable Law Firm to $55K

Prominent Essex County Law Firm is seeking an Accountant for their corporate headquarters.

 

Responsibilities:

*Oversee the operation of the Accounts Payable department

*Maintenance of Excel spreadsheets for health insurance, club dues and memberships

*Monitor the use of the Firms credit card

*Proper scheduling of vendor payments

*Oversee the Client Trust accounts

*Maintenance of parking allowance; i.e. partner invoices and payroll deductions

*Reconciliation of firm’s petty cash

*Foreign Wire Transfers

*Reconciliation of Retiree Benefits account

 

Required:

*Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is preferred

*3 to 5 years related accounting experience, Accounts Payable experience is required

*Solid MSOffice, with proficient Excel skills

*Elite software skills is preferred
