Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for our Suwanee, GA location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Process vendor invoices and other payable obligations of the branch in an accurate and timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sort and distribute invoices and other payable information.

Match invoices and receiving reports to purchase orders. Verify information for accuracy and return invoices when discrepancies occur.

Accurately code and batch all invoices for data entry. Enter invoices into the computer and verify for accuracy of input from the transaction log. Maintain daily batch logs.

Work with purchasing to resolve record discrepancies that result from mismatches in purchase order, receipts, and vendor statemtns and accounts payable aging report.

Process vendor accountsin an accurate and timely manner. Assign vendor numbers when necessary and request Federal ID verification to all new vendors.

Reconcile vendor statements.

Perform other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma required.

1 - 5 years related experience.

Additional training courses in accounting and/or business desirable.

Working knowledge on Microsoft Windows applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.

Good human relations skills and willing to work flexible hours.

Effecitve communicator who can thrive within a team oriented environment.
