ACCOUNTING TECH needed ASAP for Long-Term Federal Government Contract Opportunity!!

Candidate will be responsible for processing all data of financial nature received in the Accounting Section

Qualifications to Include:

• Processing all data of a financial nature
• Utilize an extremely complex interrelated system of Fund Control, Cost, General Ledger, and Allotment Accounting
• Appropriations and funds from which obligations are made are subdivided into programs, limitations, and analysis which must be verified as proper prior to obligation
• There are approximately 172 Fund Control allocation codes available within the station and incumbent must classify all obligations according to these codes established for the control of station funds
• Prepares and verifies numerous types of Financial Management System code sheets which generate Appropriation Ledger, Operating Ledger, Allotment Ledger and General Ledger entries for all the above types of transactions
• Prepares and verifies inter and intra-agency billings for receivables and payables.
• Reconciles fixed asset accounts with perpetual Real Property Cards, Accounts Receivable balances with SF1114 and 1080 billings, General Post Fund cash balance with earmarked and unarmored control cards and General Post fund inventory balances with Acquisitions and Material Management
• Reconciles undeliverable orders and accrued service payables
• Replenishes Agent Cashier at least twice weekly, based on supporting documents
• Obligates all estimated obligations
• Assists and aids supervisor in the preparation of any Fiscal report as assigned
• Maintains the two suspense ledgers, and prepares disbursement as needed
• Serves as control point for FMS
• Liquidates various types of payment documents, contained on the transmittals, form obligations, before mailing to the Austin DPC action
