Accounting Supervisor of Payroll Taxation

Performs advanced accounting tasks, providing specialized analyses and troubleshooting in one or more specialized functions. Responsible for overseeing daily operations for one or more specific areas, projects, contracts, or divisions.
REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account control, analysis and reconciliation

Coordination of the US and state payroll tax process

Consultation to the business units regarding payroll tax considerations

Preparation of all required payroll tax filings and reports

Identify potential financial risks, communicate these risks to Management and direct the final disposition of related payroll tax items

Coordinate business unit payroll tax inquiry and reporting requirements

Coordinate business unit payroll tax account oversight and periodic audits

Coordinate both Internal and External Audit requirements

 

BA/BS in Accounting

Masters Degree in Taxation a plus


CPA or CMA or MBA a plus

 

Public and / or private tax accounting experience

Managerial leadership and team management experience

Account management / reconciliation

Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

High motivation and desire to work towards increasing levels of responsibility and challenge
