Accounting Research - Fortune 500 Co.
Our client, a solid Fortune 500 company, is seeking to fill a high level position which is a combination of financial reporting and accounting research. In this position, you will work closely with senior management in order to ensure proper accounting and financial reporting of complex issues and transactions, as well as participate in the SEC financial reporting process. The company has a long history of providing tremendous long-term career growth opportunities and provides outstanding benefits.
Responsibilities include:
1) Research technical accounting issues and assist with the implementation of new pronouncements
2) Assist business unit controllers with understanding and addressing complex accounting issues
3) Assist with merger & acquisition accounting and integration support related to accounting treatment and issues
4) Participate in the drafting of Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
5) Perform special accounting projects as assigned
