Growing public company involved with internet media (OTC Bulletin Board) has immediate opening for an Accounting Manager.  We are seeking an experienced professional with 5-10 years of experience.  An accounting degree is required, CPA is preferred. Software used is QuickBooks 2006.  Salary commensurate with qualifications.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintaining the company’s system of accounts (general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll and revenue cost accounting, asset management).Month end and year end closing process and journal entries and account reconciliation.Ensures that all accounting activities and functions are met within set time frames.Prepares, analyzes and submits monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to the CEO, and Board Members, coordinate with an external CPA firm that performs audits, quarterly reviews and prepare tax returns.Accountable for monthly financial package preparation including budget vs. actual reports, P&L analysis, Balance Sheet informationResponsible for tax planning and compliance with all federal, state and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes.Serves as primary accounting interface.Produce SEC based documents.Responsible for payroll.Effective communication skills.
