Belmar Development Group, LLC is located in the City of Detroit and is involved in several Mix-Use Residential/Retail and Commercial Developments in the City of Detroit.  Belmar Development Group, LLC, is a growing Real Estate Development Company and seeks a versatile person to handle the accounting/bookkeeping and administrative assistant functions for the main office at Belmar Development Group, LLC. 

CONSTRUCTION or REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT BACKGROUND REQUIRED!

Responsibilities include: A/P & A/R, bank reconciliation’s for several development entities and primary business, monthly financial reports for properties under development, financial statements, budget forecasting, project financial analysis, comparative statements. Project AIA Billings and assisting project managers, providing Sworn Statements, Contractors Waivers, etc., to owners, title companies and Banks on a monthly basis. Prepared and mailed all miscellaneous and/or reimbursable invoices and project statements, performing a variety of accounting & data entry duties including accounts payable, code invoices, weekly check runs, accounts receivable, deposits, account reconciliations. Individual must be very accurate with all data entry and financial reporting. This position deals with the complete accounting cycle.

 

As the Administrative Assistant Established and organized various procedures and systems in this Real Estate Development office. Responsible for maintaining current Certificates of General Liability, Workers Comp Responsible for all Administered insurance issues, medical, dental. Answer a multi-line phone system with voice-mail. Assist with making copies, sending and distributing faxes, maintaining copy and fax machines and printers, type memos, letters, and correspondences. Administrative Assistant to CEO, . Also assist others in office with various tasks

 

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years administrative/construction accounting experienceExtensive knowledge of QuickBooks 2006 or other accounting softwareStrong excel skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and follow-up Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent quality standard Self-starter, strong organizational skills Professional appearance and attitude, positive, friendly personality Leadership Qualities

Candidate must also have good professional communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to fluently speak, read, and completely understand English to perform all essential duties satisfactorily, Individual must be well organized and possess good written, verbal and organizational skills. Time management skills and the ability to manage task responsibilities without direct supervision are mandatory. Good phone etiquette skills & a flexible, positive attitude are also required.
